Tegan and Sara Share Cake with Gogol Bordello

Sassy Canadian sister act Tegan and Sara will join Cake, gypsy punks Gogol Bordello, and comedian Eugene Mirman on tour in early 2006 as part of Cake’s Unlimited Sunshine Tour. This is the third tour Cake has curated — with similarly eclectic results. The inaugural Unlimited Sunshine tour featured Cake along with Modest Mouse, Flaming Lips, and hip-hop mainstays De La Soul, while the second tour included garage rockers the Detroit Cobras and Cheap Trick. The tour kicks off on Jan. 19 in Worcester, MA. Tegan and Sara will be arriving fresh from a jaunt in Japan with the All-American Rejects before getting a taste of Cake’s “Rock’n’Roll Lifestyle.”
