After rocking crowds across the U.S. on this fall’s Never Sleep Again tour with Hawthorne Heights, Bayside, and Aiden, Silverstein is ready to bust out on their own: They’re headlining a slew of performances in February with Stretch Arm Strong, Spitalfield, and the Audition opening. Silverstein kicks things off Feb. 21 in Detroit and has a whirlwind week until wrapping things up Feb. 28 in Poughkeepsie. Silverstein’s second album, this year’s Discovering the Waterfront, has sold over 100,000 copies in the US.
The band is touring nonstop in early 2006. Before they come to the U.S., Silverstein is playing Europe with A Simple Plan. After their headlining dates, Silverstein is playing on the Take Action Tour in March with Matchbook Romance and the Early November, and in April, Silverstein joins the Deftones, Thrice, Atreyu, and many others as part of the Taste of Chaos tour (read more).
