Metric Announces North American Tour

Metric, featuring Canadian cutie Emily Haines of Broken Social Scene fame, will kick off a North American tour on Feb. 24. Metric is touring in support of their most recent release, Live it Out. The band starts the tour in Toronto and crosses the continent twice before a final show April 15 in Detroit. Metric wrapped up a European jaunt last night with a show in Toulouse, France. Seeing Metric live will be worth it just to check out Emily Haines’ new duds: In November she posted on the band’s website calling for an aspiring designer to help her fashion a new line of stage dresses. If you’re up for the job, contact Miss Haines at [email protected].
