Kaiser Chiefs Survive Hepatitis A Scare

After canceling a number of Spanish tour dates earlier this fall due to the illness of a member of their touring party, the Kaiser Chiefs are back on the road and in fine fettle. Last month, SPIN.com reported on the “highly contagious and rare virus” that kept the Chiefs off the road (read more

Turns out the virus in question was Hepatitis A, NME.com reports. “Someone on our bus got it and we all had to go home and get inoculated,” explained Chiefs drummer Nick Hodgson. “We weren’t in quarantine though!” The Kaiser Chiefs will make up one of the cancelled Spain dates in Barcelona on February 25 before the rest of their European tour kicks off. The Kaiser Chiefs just released a live DVD, Enjoyment, to go along with their hit debut album, Employment.
