Art Brut Loads Their Pistols

On November 6, the 30th Anniversary of the Sex Pistols’ first live performance, Art Brut, Battant, and Comanechi will commemorate the occasion with a crude, rude tribute at Central St. Martin’s College of Art in London. In addition to the live performances, Playlouder.com says there will be a screening of Don Letts’ documentary Punk: Attitude. For those who’ve never minded the bollocks, this Pistols tribute will be a disappointment: It’s closed to the public. You must either be a St. Martin’s student or an invited guest to attend the fete. In true Sex Pistols spirit, though, you could always crash the party with a safety pin in any appendage.
