Sleater-Kinney Cancels European Tour Dates
After two harrowing trips to the ER prompted by severe allergic reactions for Sleater-Kinney guitarist Carrie Brownstein, the band has decided to cancel their November tour dates in Europe. According to a post on Sleater-Kinney’s official website, “[Brownstein’s] doctor has advised that she not travel/tour for prolonged periods of time until the condition stabilizes and further tests are conducted.” Sleater-Kinney was also scheduled to perform at Australia’s Big Day Out Festival in January and February of next year. No word yet as to whether the band still plans to wow the fans down under.
