He’s already a straight edge, what with his vegan leanings and his love of tea: The next logical step for Moby might be a full-blown return to his punk roots. “[T]oday I’m going into the studio to record a bunch of punk rock songs,” Moby posted on his website. “Over the last year I’ve written lots and lots of punk songs… If we don’t release them you can always come by teany [Moby’s NYC health food restaurant] and I’ll make copies for you.” Moby is also working on a new album under his Voodoo Child alter ego. Moby’s most recent album was 2005’s Hotel, while Voodoo Child’s Baby Monkey arrived 2004.
