After moving over 700,000 units of his latest album Guero since its March release, Beck is getting ready to release Guerolito (aww!), an album of Guero remixes. According to Billboard.com, Beck is considering a December 6 release date for Guerolito, and the project will include remixes by Boards of Canada, Ad Rock of the Beastie Boys, and John King of the Dust Brothers, among several others. According to Beck’s website, Boards of Canada’s remix of the song “Broken Drum” is already part of an Urban Outfitters hurricane benefit compilation set to hit UO stores on October 25. Beck will be playing live dates in San Diego and Phoenix before hitting Las Vegas for the Vegoose Festival the weekend before Halloween.
