Henry Rollins: Man on Film

Is there anything the man behind the Rollins band can’t do? First he starts his illustrious career as the very angry man behind Black Flag. Then Henry keeps rolling as the frontman of the Rollins Band. After that, Rollins started publishing his writing and performing as a spoken word artist, and he’s even acted in a bunch of Hollywood flicks, a tangent that undoubtedly helped in his newest adventure: hosting Henry’s Film Corner on the Independent Film Channel. According to Rollins’ website, he just finished interviewing Crispin Glover for the show. Henry says of Glover: “We discussed his movie What Is It? which was one of the most jarring film experiences of my short life.” That’s a bold statement for a man whose veins regularly bulge out of his neck with alarming clarity; no word if the interview touched on Glover’s alarming likeness to Interpol’s Carlos D. Henry is currently on a spoken word tour of the U.S., and will release a book on November 6 called Rommanitarian, which includes poems and short stories.
