Word on the European gossip beat is that Oasis lead singer and tabloid fodder Liam Gallagher has made an honest woman of longtime girlfriend Nicole Appelton. Appelton, formerly of the British girl group All Saints (though Appelton was born Canadian), already has a four-year-old child by Liam named Gene. Playlouder.com reports that the couple was seen wearing shiny rings and canoodling near Lake Como in Italy recently: This spotting prompted the nuptial rumors. It would make a second marriage for Gallagher, who used to be married to Lethal Weapon 2 star Patsy Kensit. Oasis will appear at the Across the Narrows Festival in New York this October at the tail end of their North American tour.
