iPod DJ Mixer Out This Fall

It’s true, iPods are about to take over the world, or the nightlife world, at least. Apple and Numark Industries are releasing iDJ, a DJ mixing board with two docks for iPods, basically allowing two iPods to take the place of two CDs or records. The iDJ also has USB connectivity to Macs and PCs, and a function that supports the recording of voice notes. In addition, iDJ includes quarter and eighth inch headphone jacks for the full mix-master experience. Of course, the iDJ will also feature Apple’s streamlined design. You might want to open a piggy bank for this one: the iDJ is predicted to run you a cool 399 smackers at retail.
