G-Unit Soldiers Nicked on Gun Charges

After the New York installment of the Anger Management Tour, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks and eleven other members of their entourage were arrested for gun possession. G-Unit’s show on August 8 at Madison Square Garden finished up with Young Buck and company performing the song “F*ck the Police,” an ironic end considering their near-immediate arrest post-performance. According to MTV.com, an NYPD spokesperson said Buck and Banks were pulled over at 41st Street and Eighth Avenue in Manhattan for allegedly running a red light. A search of the rappers’ vehicle produced a .357 and a loaded .40 caliber. As of yesterday, Buck and Banks were still in custody. There are two dates left on the Anger Management Tour; it is unclear whether Buck and Banks will be out in time to perform.

Anger Management Tour:
8/10, Mansfield, MA (Tweeter Center)
8/12, Detroit, MI (Comerica Park)
