Manchester’s Doves are embarking on an American tour this September. Singer Jimi Goodwin and his bandmates, the brothers Williams, start things off in Boston on September 12 and wrap things up on October 11 in San Diego. Doves will make a number of festival pit stops along the way, including performances at New York’s CMJ and Across the Narrows Festivals, the Austin City Limits Festival, and the Download Festival in Mountainview, California. Doves will be joined by former SPIN.com Bands of the Day Longwave (Longwaveread more) and Marjorie Fair (read more) on some dates and Kentucky-based disco rockers VHS or Beta on others.
