Slim Shady Sits Down?

Eminem’s September 17 show in Dublin, Ireland, might be his last, says the Detroit Free Press. Friends close to Marshall Mathers claim that he’s exhausted by the pressures and expectations imposed on a global superstar, and they predict he will look for a more behind-the-scenes role in music that might focus more on producing and A&R. The Free Press quoted someone close to Em’s camp as saying, “Marshall feels like he’s said everything he can say as Eminem.” The article also added that these days, Eminem feels most comfortable in the privacy of his own home, spending time with his daughter, 9-year-old Hallie. Eminem’s current Anger Management Tour through the U.S. may be his last, so catch him while you can. Or, save your money and remember the time when Jay-Z “retired.”
