Queen Believes in a Thing Called Darkness?

Q: What do Queen and the Darkness have in common? A: A flair for the flamboyant, a penchant for spandex, and now, lead singer Justin Hawkins. Australian rock site Undercover reports that Hawkins, frontman for the Darkness, will join Queen as their lead singer for the London show of their current world tour. Queen is currently performing with ex-Bad Company vocalist Paul Rodgers in place of the deceased Freddy Mercury, who died in 1991 from AIDS. The show is this Friday at London’s Hyde Park, the giant space that recently hosted Live 8.
