Cop from Village People Gets Cuffed

Victor Edward Willis, the man who originated the “cop” role in the Village People, was arrested last week in Daly City, California, when real discovered a loaded .45, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia in Willis’ Corvette convertible, according to E! Online. Police then checked out Willis’ trailer in Daly City and found more drug paraphernalia and two pit bulls locked in a bedroom. This isn’t the Cop’s first brush with the non-disco law: He was arrested in 1990 for drug possession and acquitted of rape charges in 1993. Although Willis has not been part of the Village People since 1979, we’re still awaiting comment from the Indian, the Biker, the Soldier, the Construction Worker, and the Cowboy on the Cop’s recent legal woes.
