Mars Volta Tour Troubles

The Mars Volta had to cancel a number of European tour dates due to a stomach ailment plaguing guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, says Pitchforkmedia.com. The band’s nixed the remaining dates of their European tour, and there’s no word yet whether they will reschedule. Stateside, the Mars Volta’s tour is slated to go ahead without a hitch, unless, of course, someone barfs up a lung. The Mars Volta’s U.S shows are all supporting System of a Down, so all the angry young men can get their share of ticked-off hard rock.
