Coldplay Tops Charts Again

Coldplay’s third album, X&Y, just entered its third week at the top of the Billboard charts.Chris Martin and his boys moved 186,000 units this week, while the Foo Fighters fell one place from No. 2 to No. 3. The Foos sold 116,000 copies of their first double album In Your Honor. In a swift blast from the past, the Offspring hit the charts this week with a greatest hits disc, led by the brand new track”Can’t Repeat.” Offspring’s greatest hits sold 70,000 copies this week, bringing the So-Cal band to No. 8. Billy Corgan’s solo debut, TheFutureEmbrace bowed at No. 30, while the Dropkick Murphys’ Hellcat debuted at No. 48.
