    First 'Twilight: Eclipse' Trailer Released!

The first full trailer for Eclipse, the upcoming third film in the Twilight series, has hit the web and members of both Team Edward and Team Jacob have reason to rejoice: Edward professes his undying love for Bella, while Taylor Lautner's Jacob does indeed show up shirtless -- and yes, he's still ripped. Watch the clip below. The trailer packs a whole bunch of excitement into 90 seconds, including a look at the unfolding love triangle between blood-sucker Edward (Robert Pattinson), frail human Bella (Kristin Stewart), and werewolf Jacob (Lautner). If that's not juicy enough, it looks like Bella's life is on the line yet again, and it's up to her hunky boyfriends to help save her neck. WATCH: Eclipse doesn't hit theaters until June 30, but film's stars aren't keeping idle in the meantime. Kristen Stewart's Runaways movie opens March 19.

Danger Mouse, Sparklehorse Collabo Ready for Release

Dark Night of the Soul, the long-awaited collaboration between producer Danger Mouse and indie rock outfit Sparklehorse, will finally see a proper release later this year. The album, which features a slew of star contributors including the Flaming Lips and the Strokes' Julian Casablancas, was due out last May but legal battles with EMI delayed its release. The move sparked a protest from Danger Mouse, who instead released a blank CD-R with a statement that no music was included for legal reasons, along with instructions for fans to use the CD-R "as you will," presumably to rip the album off the web. But according to Danger Mouse, things now seem to be on the up-and-up. "The problems of last year are last year," he told the BBC.

New LCD Soundsystem Album Due in May

James Murphy has announced a May 18 release date for the yet-to-be-titled third album from his dance-rock outfit LCD Soundsystem. The record follows 2007's Sound of Silver, which SPIN called both "rocking and rapturous." See the new album's tracklist below. It's a big spring for Murphy, who has also composed his first film score, for the upcoming Focus Features release Greenberg, starring Ben Stiller and directed by Noah Baumbach (The Squid and the Whale). Understandably, the biggest challenge for Murphy this past year was juggling his two projects. "The hardest part was stopping in the middle to make music that had absolutely nothing to do with the record," Murphy tells SPIN.

WATCH: Vampire Weekend Join Jonas Bro

If there's one thing Vampire Weekend prove in their new video for "Giving Up the Gun," off their chart-topping new album Contra, it's that they have the most random group of friends ever. Joe Jonas, meet RZA. Jake Gyllenhaal, say hello to Lil Jon. All four of those guys appear in the clip, which pits a redheaded cutie against a string of opponents in a tennis tournament, officiated by Wu-Tang Clan member RZA. She duels Jonas and Gyllenhaal, and even scores a few tips on the proper backstroke from Lil Jon. The whole surreal competition takes place in a shiny white room with Vampire Weekend performing the infectious tune in the background. If that's not alluring enough, the video also features a shot of Gyllenhaal tearing off his track pants to reveal blue short-shorts underneath. Whew.

Pixies' Frank Black: All About the Benjamins

Pixies frontman Frank Black bluntly stated in a recent interview that the band's "arty farty" years are over, and touring for the '80s quartet is now all about the Benjamins. "We're interested in anything that's going to earn us a fair wage," Black told The Quietus. "It's not to say it's not about art, but we made that art fuckining twenty years ago.... Now it's time to talk about the money." Black, who is prepping for the upcoming release of his solo album, NonStopErotik, was discussing the possibility of the Pixies performing shows that focus on the band's early work, such as their seminal debut, Surfer Rosa. In 2009, the band staged tour dates around the world where they played their 1989 classic, Dolittle, in its entirety. The Pixies' monetary ambitions are clearly not limited to touring.
