Watch: NOFX Celebrate Warped Tour's 15th Anniversary

Punk rock has long been the soundtrack of frustrated adolescence, but even the brattiest of genres must grow up eventually. L.A. punk fans celebrated a coming-of-age milestone Sept. 6 when a slew of bands helped the Vans Warped Tour honor its 15th anniversary with a huge concert. A cinematic version of the event will hit movie theaters for one-night-only this Thursday (Sept. 17), but we've got an exclusive clip of NOFX's performance right now!Veterans of seven Warped Tours, NOFX embody the tour's ethos in just 90 seconds with "Murder the Government": It's high-energy music that's compelling not in spite of its sloppiness, but because of it. It's frustration unleashed by musicians having as much fun on stage as the crowd's having in the pits.Only stupefying heat and rank porta-potties were missing from the L.A.

WATCH: Scarlett Johansson and Pete Yorn's Live Debut

It's fitting that Pete Yorn and Scarlett Johansson made their live performance debut last night on French television. After all, Yorn recently said that Parisian singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg's collaboration with French actress Bridgett Bardot inspired his own album of duets with Johansson. The duo performed "Relator" on the indie-leaning Le Grand Journal Thursday night, and we've got the video below. "Relator," the first single off ScarYo's hit-and-miss album, Break Up, was propped up in its live iteration by a four-piece band that replaced the moody theatrics of the original with a sassy bounce. Johansson appeared poised and confident in her first live performance as a leading lady (she did backing vocals for the Jesus and Mary Chain two years ago) but she admitted her nerves were running high. "Red Carpet appearance is WAYYY better..!!," she posted on Twitter this morning.

    EXCLUSIVE: Zero 7's Old-Fashioned Groove

London-based electronica duo Zero 7 may have lost vocalist-turned-solo-star Sia two years ago, but they have found a worthy replacement: Brit folk singer Martha Tilston. On new Zero 7 track "Pop Art Blue" -- which you can hear exclusively below -- Tilston's singing lilts along, while Zero 7 accompanies her with brushed drums, plucked guitar, and muted horns. The tune's sound reaches back before the last century of electric guitars and drum machines, which are so prevalent in their other work. The song is from the group's Yeah Ghost album, out September 29, and shows why this unassuming duo (Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker to their friends) has steadily built a loyal follow since releasing their Mercury Prize-nominated debut in 2001.
