Executives at the Def Jam label have delayed the December 14 release date of a new Nas album, The Lost Tapes: Vol. 2, and Nas isn't happy. He gave them a piece of his mind in a new email that just leaked online. The Queens, NY, rapper begins the email, which addressed six execs, including heavyweight L.A. Reid, by writing, "Nas is NOBODY's slave. This is not the 1800s, respect me and I will respect you." He then demands that they "stop throwing dog shit on a MAGICAL moment," and to, "PUT MY SHIT OUT!" The problem, Nas writes, is the egos of the execs, who "think [that] they are the stars," he writes. "You aren't.... not even close. As a matter of fact, you wish you were, but it didn't work out so you took a desk job.... To the consumer, I COME FIRST. Stop trying to deprive them!
