First Look: Silversun Pickups New Video

Sometimes, all you need for a great music video are some psychedelic visuals, performance footage, and a killer tune. Case in point: "Panic Switch" from buzzed-about Los Angeles indie rockers Silversun Pickups. Quick shots of the four members in various states of motion flash on the screen, intercut with clips of the band performing the tune, which is on their sophomore effort, Swoon (out April 14).The approach is simple, yet effective -- and the song's pretty awesome, too, right down to its loud but melodic guitars and dreamy chorus about paranoia. SPIN.com Premiere: Neil Young's Road Trip

The last time we checked in with Neil Young, he was riding in the back of a limousine in his Wall Street-bashing video for "Cough Up the Bucks." In this clip for "When World Collide," also from his new album Fork in the Road (out April 7), Young moves to the driver's seat -- and you know what that means: ROAD TRIP!The grainy, lo-fi video shows Young hitting the highway in his 1959 Lincoln, which runs on biodiesel and is a plug-in hybrid. As he drives, he sings the tune's alternative fuel-concious lyrics: "Running low off the people's fuel / Riding in something that's really cool / On the proud highway."Check out the video below. They're continuing the festivities with next week's release of Clarity Live, recorded during their March 7 tour-closing hometown gig in Mesa, Arizona. Download "A Sunday" from the live album below! New Song: David Byrne Parties with Brazilian Girls

Sometimes the best way to respond to a record label's demands is to act creatively -- and that's exactly what NYC dance-poppers Brazilian Girls did when their label requested an English-language version of "I'm Losing Myself," from their 2008 record, New York City.Instead of merely going through the motions and re-recording the tune, they got former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne to contribute new vocals. "We immediately resisted the suggestion [from the label]," Brazilian Girls frontwoman Sabina Sciubba tells SPIN.com. "Then we thought of David with unadulterated enthusiasm. Besides being fans of his, we felt we were very compatible musically and the song was perfect for him. We sent him the files and he recorded between tours.

Stream the song below. Then talk about "the wave" (or whatever else you want) in the comments section. LISTEN: Bat For Lashes, "Glass"
