Eminem to Release Two Albums This Year

After months of speculation, delays, and leaks, rap phenom Eminem has finally announced the street date for his long-awaited comeback album, Relapse -- or should we say comeback albums? Relapse will arrive May 19 -- the same day as Lil Wayne's rock album Rebirth -- with a companion record, Relapse 2, planned to arrive later this year. Relapse's first single and music video -- speculated to be chart-topping hit "Crack a Bottle", though unconfirmed at press time -- will drop April 7. "A lot of people were expecting Relapse to drop last year," Eminem said in a statement. "I was one of them. Then Dre and I went back in the studio in September for a few days, and that turned into six months. We were on such a roll; we wound up with a ton of new music produced by Dre.

Free Download: Clap Your Hands Say Yeah Return!

Like a high school sweetheart, Brooklyn's Clap Your Hands Yeah are giving us mixed signals: Despite playing their "final" show last month, the Brooklyn band aren't saying goodbye just yet. They played a brand new tune, "Statues,"on last night's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and now have posted a studio version of the track on their website for free download! Confusing, but totally awesome! Featuring surf-rock drums, frontman Alec Ounsworth's signature vocals, and plenty of melodic twists and turns, "Statues" shares more with the jittery indie-pop of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah's 2005 self-titled debut than it does with the band's darker sophomore effort, 2007's Some Loud Thunder. Head over to CYHSY's official website to snag the track -- you'll have to provde your e-mail address. Then tell us what you think in the comments section.

New Video: Lil Wayne Gets Revenge!

Attention, popular girls: Ignore Lil Wayne and your life will be ruined! That's the message behind Weezy's new music video for "Prom Queen," the first single off his upcoming rock album Rebirth, out May 19. In the clip, a glasses-wearing, nerdy Wayne gets snubbed by a high school hottie who eventually becomes the -- you guessed it -- prom queen. But fate works its magic, as Lil Wayne sheds the specs to become a superstar while the popular girl becomes an unhappy single mother. It's a silly concept -- but something tells us we've seen it before... Check out the video below. Then find a date to the prom in the comments section. Watch: Lil Wayne, "Prom Queen"

Must Hear: Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band

Seattle quintet Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band isn't your usual indie-rock group -- after all, they came to popularity with a series of goofy faux-instructional web videos (watch below), and their drummer, Marshall Verdoes, is only 14 years old. But they do have the tunes to back up their quirks, as they show with their SPIN-approved debut, out March 10 via Dead Oceans. "Cheer For Fate," one the album's best tracks, finds bandleader Benjamin Verdoes -- the 27-year-old brother of Marshall, who was adopted -- singing about falling in love in the springtime. The song is a melodic tangle of sounds that recall a jangly, lo-fi version of Tokyo Police Club. Download the track below. Then watch the band's silly, fake public service announcement warning of the dangers of homeostasis -- featuring a computerized hamburger! Listen: Mt. St.

Grizzly Bear Join Brooklyn Philharmonic in NYC

You could say it would take a full orchestra to adequately perform some of Grizzly Bear's songs, with their ornate arrangements featuring woodwinds and strings.
