    New Video: U2's 'Magnificent'

U2 have released the music video for their latest single, "Magnificent," which gives fans both a look inside the studio in Fez, Morocco, where they wrote their new album, No Line on the Horizon, and an exquisite, conceptual element: views of the ancient city covered in giant white sheets. Director Alex Courtes, who also directed the first Horizon video for "Get On Your Boots," captured Bono and the boys playing the song in their palatial studio setting, then spliced it with footage of the giant sheets eventually floating above the city itself as residents (and U2 themselves) stride around the streets of Fez. It's certainly a magnificent visual for the band's ode to love. Watch the video below. Is it really "Magnificent? Tell us what you think in the comments section. U2, "Magnificent"

    Full Video: Eminem's Murderous Rampage

Bed-wetters, beware: Eminem's bloody new music video is downright nightmarish! The clip for Em's new single "3 A.M.," from his May 19 album, Relapse, is chock full of dead bodies, creepy forest scenes, and shots of Em brandishing a butcher's knife while streaks of blood move up (that's right, up) the walls. Hey, as he rhymes in the song: "I'm just a hooligan, who's used to using hallucinogens / Bodies laying all over the floor / I don't remember how they got there / I guess I killed them." We're officially spooked. Watch the whole video below. Then sleep with the lights turned on in the comments section. WATCH: Eminem, "3 A.M."

    Are Green Day Still Punk?

With an operatic approach that references classic rock kings like Queen and the Who, there's no doubt that Green Day's new album, 21st Century Breakdown, continues the epic reach of 2004 masterwork American Idiot. Which has some asking: Are Green Day still punk? According to frontman Billie Joe Armstrong -- yes! "Punk is ground zero for us," Armstrong told MTV.com. "Coming from [Berkeley, CA's] Gilman Street, we saw the most creative people I've ever seen in my life. There was a band called Schlong, and they did 'West Side Story,' and they called it 'Punk Side Story.' And then there's bands like NoMeansNo, [who made] a record like Wrong that's completely insane. None of those are conventional -- what we call 'punk-rock bands' -- but they are, in their own right, the most creative, the most punk." "It's about being creative," Armstrong continued.

New Song: Datarock's Talking Heads Tribute

Master trains apprentice; apprentice praises master: Such is the scenario for funky Norwegian duo Datarock, who are paying tribute to New York genre-benders Talking Heads with a dancetastic new song! "True Stories," a track off Datarock's sophomore record, Red (due September 1), should certainly warm the hearts of David Byrne and Co. During three upbeat minutes, vocalist Fredrik Saroea rattles off Talking Heads song titles -- "Houses in Motion," "Don't Worry About the Government," "Once in a Lifetime" -- in an airy yelp not unlike that of Byrne himself. The song -- which take its name from Talking Heads' 1986 album and Byrne-directed film -- dishes out stabs of guitar, drums, and synthesizer that recall TH's landmark 1980 release, Remain in Light. "True Stories" will also be available on a new Datarock remix EP, out on iTunes May 19. Listen to the track below.
