    Libertines Will Reunite, Says Source

It's been five years since Brit rockers the Libertines broke up. But after estranged bandleaders Pete Doherty and Carl Barat played a surprise one-off set with former drummer Gary Powell this past weekend in London, the question is: Will the Libertines officially reunite? According to Adam Ficek, drummer of Doherty's current band, Babyshambles, it's only a matter of time until the Libertines reform for good! "I'm sure they'll get together at some point," Ficek told BBC 6 Music. The Libertines, who ushered in a new, gritty garage rock sound in contemporary Brit rock, split due to the acrimony between Doherty and Barat -- which came to a head when Doherty robbed Barat's apartment and pawned his music equipment for money to buy drugs.

Radiohead Return to Studio for New Album

Despite wrapping their world tour in March, Radiohead have already returned to the studio to begin recording their new album! Bassist Colin Greenwood told BBC News about the sessions for the band's follow-up to 2007's In Rainbows: "We just went in last week. It was really good. It was really noisy and chaotic and really fun. "We're at the stage where we've got the big Lego box out and we've tipped it out on the floor and we're looking at all the bits and thinking, 'What next?'" Handling production duties is Nigel Godrich, who has manned the boards on every Radiohead record since their 1997 landmark OK Computer. "He's brilliant," Greenwood told NME.com.

Video Battle: Killers vs. Modest Mouse

Modest Mouse and the Killers both have new music videos -- and they both unfold in a forest. Whoda thunk it: Isaac Brock and Brandon Flowers actually have something in common... and that might be the only thing. Ever. MM's clip for "Satellite Skin," a song from their upcoming No One's First And You're Next EP, goes for a weird, unsettling vibe courtesy of director Kevin Willis' tiny, animated wooden houses and alien-like creatures, who hatch birds from their eyes! The video for the Killers' Day and Age cut "The World We Live In," on the other hand, features the four boys strolling around a Bob Ross-like forest while frontman Brandon Flowers preens (appropriately, in a feathered jacket) amongst a snowy, mountainous landscape. Which clip wins the War of the Wilderness? Check 'em both out below.

Blur's Graham Coxon: I Wanted to Kill Myself

With Blur set to reunite this summer, happy days are here again for the Britpop greats. But according to guitarist Graham Coxon, things weren't always so sunny during the band's '90s glory days. "I tried to jump out of a sixth-story window," Coxon told UK newspaper The Daily Mail, explaining that his suicidal thought was directly fueled by the hoopla surrounding the Britpop phenomenon in 1995. "It was the climax to the so-called Blur/Oasis war. [Blur's] 'Country House' had outsold [Oasis'] 'Roll With It' and went straight to the top of the charts. Our record company threw a big champagne party at Soho House in London. I felt I was being forced into enjoying the moment and I just wanted to be alone really... It felt like a hollow, pointless victory. I couldn't handle being part of that crowd...

    M.I.A. Hangs Out with Oprah!

Ah, the life of M.I.A.: rocking out at the Grammys while pregnant, running a fashion line -- and kicking it with Oprah!?! That's right, the Sri Lanka-raised, London-based star -- and former SPIN cover subject -- rubbed elbows with the media overlord at Tuesday night's Time 100 gala in New York City. The event celebrated those who made the magazine's yearly list of the 100 most influential people -- which this year includes M.I.A. "She said she liked my jacket from the magazine (the one my brother got for me from the side of the street at SXSW '09)," M.I.A., a.k.a. Maya Arulpragasam, wrote in a post on her MySpace blog. "She squeezed my hand so hard, I was convinced she cared." And M.I.A. almost made a political gesture at the event, but thought better of it.

Listen to the Beastie Boys' New Song

Ch-ch-ch-check it out -- it's a brand new song from the Beastie Boys! The track, "Lee Majors Come Again," surfaced on a bonus 7" that was included with the March 30 vinyl reissue of the Beasties' 1992 classic, Check Your Head. But a spokesperson for the trio tells SPIN.com the song was written during recording sessions for the band's forthcoming album, which is tentatively set for a fall release. Over three-and-a-half-minutes of furious electric guitar and fat distorted bass, MCA, Ad-Rock, and Mike D trade lines about Apple Bottom jeans, kung-fu grips, and the Six Million Dollar Man himself, Lee Majors. Let's hope they break this one out this summer during their appearances atBonnaroo, Austin City Limits, and All Points West. Stream "Lee Majors Come Again" below. Then check your head in the comments section. LISTEN: Beastie Boys, "Lee Majors Come Again"
