Stream Dog Party's Pop-Punk Detonator 'Jet Pack'
The two sisters that make up Dog Party may be young — Gwen and Lucy Giles are 17 and 14 years old, respectively — but they've been playing music together since elementary school. On August 13, the Sacramento wunderkinds will release their third Dog Party LP, Lost Control. Ahead of that milestone, we've got "Jet Pack," a sugary "us-against-the-world" summer anthem that draws a line from the Shangri-Las to the Ramones to Best Coast. Who needs a high school diploma when you've got pop chops that sharp? Watch Warm Soda Lead a Suburban Rebellion in 'Jeanie Loves Pop' Video
Warm Soda's recently released debut album relishes in sweetly scuzzy hooks and power-pop charm. The Bay Area rebels' new video for "Jeanie Loves Pop," a gutter-glam highlight from the Someone for You LP, celebrates another rock'n'roll trope: Loud guitars are the devil's playthings. Jeanie's a tattooed teen stuck with Bible-thumping parents who demand she turn off that darn racket. Mom and dad call a priest to save their heathen daughter, but it's a lost cause — the power of Warm Soda compels her.

Hear Lightning Dust Out-Disco Johnny Jewel on 'Loaded Gun'
Black Mountain members Amber Webber and Joshua Wells are three albums into their Lightning Dust synth side project, and it runs smoother than ever. On June 25, the Vancouver duo will follow 2009's Infinite Light with Fantasy, a full-length that features enthralling lead single "Diamond" and the newly revealed "Loaded Gun." Powered by muscular drum beats and a darkly throbbing robo pulse, Lightning Dust's latest track boasts an Italo disco-pedigree. Maybe Canadians Do It Better.

AlunaGeorge's 'Body Music' Might Finally Come Out This July
The release date for AlunaGeorge's long-awaited debut album has been pushed back once again. Originally set for July 1, the British duo's first full-length, Body Music, was recently delayed to July 15. Now, the up-and-coming R&B stars have booked the LP for a July 29 unveiling.Whenever the electro-pop collection arrives, it'll come via Island Records and feature previously heard songs "Attracting Flies," "Your Drums, Your Love," and "Just a Touch." Sorry, no room for their Frank Ocean or Jungle Book covers here, but there is a bonus cut that looks to be a remake of Montell Jordan's unkillable "This Is How We Do It." AlunaGeorge have performed a slightly zonked-out version of the classic bump'n'grinder before — here's the proof.Body Music follows last year's You Know You Like It EP.

Jay-Z Lullaby Album Provides the Blueprint for Nap Time
Jay-Z is skewing toward a younger audience for his next album — a much younger audience. Like, Blue Ivy's age. Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Jay-Z will arrive on July 9. The upcoming set reimagines 12 of Jigga's best-known tracks as baby-friendly tunes that will ease the little ones to sleep. "Jay-Z's heavily rhythmic style and mastery of flow translate effortlessly to the soothing bedtime arrangements," reads a press release. The collection draws from Mr. Carter's entire career: The Blueprint 3's 2009 monster hit, "Empire State of Mind," is comfortably nestled next to "Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)," from 1998's Vol. 2... Hard Knock Life. For a preview of the record's xylophone- and bell-led arrangements, head over to the Rockabye Baby! website.

Stream Summer Cannibals' Scintillating Seduction 'Wear Me Out'
Summer Cannibals are self-starters. Not only did the Portland, Oregon foursome self-produce their upcoming debut album, No Makeup, they also designed the cover art and plan to release the collection on their own label, New Moss Records. So it's not surprising that singer-guitarist Jessica Boudreaux sounds so self-assured on the garage-rock sweethearts' latest single, "Wear Me Out." Backed by a bopping drum beat and strutting riffs, Boudreaux delivers an irresistible come-on: "Let's pretend I'm your favorite dress," she sings. "You wear me every Sunday because I'm your best." Mike Patton's Tomahawk Invade 'Fallon' for U.S. Television Debut
Tomahawk made their U.S. television debut on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night (June 3), performing "White Hats/Black Hats," a tightly wound highlight off the band's fourth album, Oddfellows. The alt-metal supergroup — composed of Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle), Duane Denison (the Jesus Lizard, Silver Jews), John Stanier (Battles, Helmet), and Trevor Dunn (Melvins Lite, Fantômas) — didn't rely on occult-loving parlor tricks for the above clip (they leave those for the official music videos). Instead, the California unit doubled down on their apocalyptic brand of bug-eyed, creeper-voiced sprawl.
