Watch Bob Mould Compel 'Letterman' to 'See a Little Light'

Bob Mould plans to release a new studio album on June 3, but the alt-rock icon dipped into his past last night on the Late Show With David Letterman. In honor of the 25th anniversary of his debut solo LP, the recently reissued Workbook, Mould performed "See a Little Light," a jangly anthem found on his first post-Hüsker Dü effort. And, just as in his last appearance on Letterman, Mould delivered a powerful performance with support from Superchunk/Mountain Goats drummer Jon Wurster and bassist Jason Narducy of Verbow and Spl:t S:ngle. Watch the clip above and find Mould's upcoming tour dates below. The 25th anniversary reissue of Workbook is out now in double-CD and double-vinyl formats thanks to Omnivore Recordings.

Watch Kanye West, Rick Ross, and Big Sean Bless 'Arsenio Hall' With 'Sanctified'

Rick Ross' Mastermind may be light on wits, but the Teflon Don's newest album isn't without its bright spots. One such highlight is "Sanctified," a radio-ready, gospel-rap rave-up featuring Kanye West and Big Sean, both of whom joined Ricky Rozay on The Arsenio Hall Show last night to perform the track. The March 6 telecast marked 'Ye's second late-night television appearance in just under two weeks (Yeezus recently blessed Late Night With Seth Meyers with a greatest-hits medley), and his second surprise appearance onstage in just under two weeks (Mr. West also crashed Drake's recent gig in Berlin). The triple-billing also served as the second major musical coup for Arsenio this week: Prince took over the revived talk show on March 5.Watch Ross, West, and Sean bring "Sanctified" to life via the video above.

Pussy Riot Sprayed With Paint at McDonald's

Pussy Riot's Maria "Masha" Alyokhina and Nadezhda "Nadia" Tolokonnikova have been victimized yet again. The Guardian reports that the two activists were recently attacked by several men at a McDonald's in the city of Nizhny Novgorod. As seen in a video Pussy Riot uploaded to YouTube on Thursday, Alyokhina and Tolokonnikova were sitting in the restaurant when they were approached by the group, who threw garbage and green paint on them while screaming obscenities. As Pitchfork points out, one man yelled, "[Go] to America!" while another screamed, "Get out of town, fucking whores." Alyokhina wrote on Twitter that the assault happened while she and Tolokonnikova were en route to a local penal colony where she served her nearly two-year prison sentence. In the video, which can be seen below, Tolokonnikova shouts, "It hurts!" as the attackers shoot paint in her face with a syringe.

Mac DeMarco Chills With 'Brother' on Fresh 'Salad Days' Single

Mac DeMarco will serve up his Salad Days LP on April 1 via Captured Tracks. The follow-up to 2012's 2 spans 11 tracks, several of which have already been spotted online: Live versions of "Treat Hear Better," "Salad Days," and "Let Her Go" have surfaced in the last few weeks, and lead single "Passing Out Pieces" dropped back in January. Now, the Canadian singer-songwriter has released the record's official second single, "Brother."Here, DeMarco drops the prank-pop antics heard on the bogus song "Eddie's Dream" (best remembered for its plea for a "little bit of pussy"), and doles out the sort of world-weary wisdom found on other Salad Days bits.

Watch TEEN's Glamorously Ghostly 'Not for Long' Video

Last month, TEEN deployed "Not for Long," the R&B-leaning lead single from the Brooklyn outfit's upcoming second album, The Way and Color (via Stereogum). Now, the Lieberson sisters — along with newly joined bassist Boshra AlSaadi — have paired the track with a striking music video. Directed and produced by Roland von Tessin, the clip stars the disembodied face of lead TEEN Kristina "Teeny" Lieberson. The former Here We Go Magic member's visage floats in a dark abyss, caked in pale-white makeup and decorated with various headdresses, creating the aura of an all-knowing entity. Watch the visual above, and pre-order The Way and Color, which arrives on April 22 by way of Carpark Records, through iTunes.

Reggie Watts Takes Bob Dylan's 'Brownsville Girl' to the Dancehall

Bob Dylan's '80s output will get its due on an upcoming compilation, the fittingly named Bob Dylan in the 80s: Volume One. Out March 25 via ATO, the 17-track set celebrates the most "uneven" era of Dylan's career with a slew of star-studded covers: Deer Tick, Craig Finn, Blitzen Trapper, Lucius, and Elvis Perkins are all on the album, as is the oddball duo of Gene Ween and Slash. Also featured? Comedian Reggie Watts, who offers a dancehall reprise of "Brownsville Girl," an 11-minute epic, co-written by playwright Sam Shepard, that originally appeared on Dylan's 1986 LP, Knocked Out Loaded."I love this track, hadn't heard of it before I was asked to be a part of the project," Watts tells SPIN. "I fell in love with it and love the way it came out.

The 10-track collection, which is set to drop on March 7, features cuts from Common, Wale, Daddy Yankee, and more, including OutKast's Big Boi, who has just freed his contribution with help from VIBE. Named "Mother of Dragons," the two-minute one-off finds the ATLien repping for the Khaleesi, a.k.a. Daenerys Targaryen (played on GoT by actress Emilia Clarke)."Khaleesi, the Mother of Dragons is one of my favorite characters," Big Boi, a devout GoT fan, told VIBE.

Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks Cast Puppet in Oddball 'Little Fang' Video

A few weeks back, Animal Collective co-leader Avey Tare announced the debut album from his new supergroup, Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks. Word of the upcoming set (which is titled Enter the Slasher House and due out April 8) came with lead single "Little Fang," a watery disco tune that surprisingly skewed, rather than skewered, pop. Now, Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks have shared a music video for "Little Fang" that finds a compromise between the single's inviting groove and the band's off-kilter name. The mostly black-and-white clip stars an adorable cat puppet — made by Jim Henson's Creature Shop — that drives a car (shout-out to Toonces!), visits a warped carnival, and finds itself surrounded by sharp-toothed specters. Abby Portner, sister to Avey Tare a.k.a. Dave Portner, directed the video, which can be seen above.
