Watch video of the pair -- who often perform under the apt Butch & Marnie moniker -- shooting the breeze about "shit" bloggers, ridiculous Starbucks uniforms, and more before saddling up and strutting through "Sweet Baby," a poignant, countrified ditty highlighted by Herald's soft vocals.

New Los Campesinos! Album Due November 11

Only seven months after dropping their debut full-length, Hold On Now, Youngster..., scrappy indie rockers Los Campesinos! have revealed plans to release a follow-up dubbed We Are Beautiful, We AreDoomed, out Nov. 11 via Arts & Crafts. And if their debut is an indication, the septet's second entry of 2008 is sure to be packed with more post-modern pop songs, and according to the band, is far from an attempt to cash in. "This is no b-sides, rarities or 'songs that weren't good enough to be on the album cobbled together with some remixes and field recordings' collection. It's all new tracks that none of you have ever heard before," Los Campesinos! wrote on their official website. The fresh tunes were cut in Seattle following the band's North American spring tour, with the sessions helmed by producer John Goodmanson (Sleater-Kinney, Blonde Redhead) over the span of only two weeks.

    Clipse/Re-Up Gang

What? Just when you thought the Brothers Thorton couldn't find any more puns or variations on the word "kilo," Clipse's Pusha T and Malice bring in reinforcements -- the imposing Ab-Live and baritone spitter Sandman-- for 'Clipse Presents: Re-Up Gang', out Aug. 5. Remixing various verses from the 'We Got It 4 Cheap: Vol. 3' free mixtape and adding a host of new tracks, the fresh set ditches the minimalist beats of longtime collaborators the Neptunes in favor of flashy, synth-heavy tracks like the Scott Storch production "Fast Life," the group's trashiest song yet and most marketable cut since "Grindin." Elsewhere, notably on "Re-Up Gang Intro," Pusha takes deliberate takes shots at Lil Wayne, bravely lashing out at the year's biggest rap star. Who?

    Anthony Green

What? While his other band, emo-prog wizards Circa Survive, take a brief break, fire-piped frontman Anthony Green turns down the heat, reducing his voice to a heavenly, high-noted whimper on his first solo album, Avalon, due Aug. 5. Named for the New Jersey city it was cut in, the album -- a set comprising both new tunes and others dating back to high school -- features the likes of "Devils Song (This Feels Like a Nightmare)," an ode to "meaninglessness," the quest for numbness "Drug Dealer," and the requisite "chick" song, "Dear Child (I've Been Dying To Reach You)" -- all of which Green has shared with SPIN.com in various incarnations. Who? First making his name as the chord-shredding vocalist of underground scenester sensations Saosin, Green then joined forces with members of his post-hardcore contemporaries to conjure a more spacey, progressive project they dubbed Circa Survive.
