  • Tori Amos Creep Radiohead Cover Video

Watch Tori Amos Wail on Radiohead's 'Creep'

Search YouTube for Radiohead's 1992 classic "Creep" and you're liable to find about a million cover versions of the track. (We've previously ranked our favorite versions of the track, ranging from Kelly Clarkson to Korn.) But, as Consequence of Sound points out, you won't find one from Thom Yorke and Co. any more recent than a half-decade ago. So, since Radiohead refuses to play the song in concert any longer, these remakes are sort of all we have to help supplement our appetite for that particular recipe of alt-angst — each one both redundant and so fucking special in its own way.Now Tori Amos, no stranger to alt-angst herself, has thrown her hat into the ring, giving the track an impassioned go at a Wednesday night concert in New York City while on tour supporting her Unrepentant Geraldines album.

  • Captain Murphy Flying Lotus Cosplay Adult Swim Stream

Flying Lotus Gets Kinky on Captain Murphy's 'Cosplay' Single

The Captain's back. So we learned yesterday with the reveal of the cartoon rapper's origin-story video, and today Murphy's return is officially restated with the first new work we've heard from Flying Lotus' alter-ego since he teamed up with MF Doom, Earl Sweatshirt, and Thundercat a year ago. Like that track, "Between Villains," this too is for Adult Swim's singles series but the villain's taking big swings on his own this time. Heard below, "Cosplay," opens with a sensual sample telling the legend of Murphy's superhuman prowess as the god of "raw creativity," before building into a swaggering two-minute ode to his geeky sex queen: "Cosplay like she nerdy / Cosplay like she dirty / Cunning she's so worthy / Prefer it when she hurt me," Captain Murphy raps in a dark chant, kinky and compelling.

  • Iggy Pop Movie Daniel Radcliffe Harry Potter

Harry Potter Wants to Be Iggy Pop Now

It's been a while since the Harry Potter film saga ended, so excuse any misinterpretations, but the young wizard was a bit of a punk, no? His style was a little off-kilter but influential and he was always telling his teachers to go suck an egg, pranking his mates, getting wastoids off butterbeer, and forever rocking a badass face tat. And actor Daniel Radcliffe managed to make that part his own, so how about a turn as the original punk, Iggy Pop, next?Sure, there's no Stooges movie currently in production, but the 25-year-old Radcliffe told KCRW DJ Eric J. Lawrence he could envision himself playing the part someday. The 25-year-old English star was joining the LA radio station for its "Guest DJ Project," and picked a punk-heavy five-song playlist to share that included Lou Reed, the Sex Pistols, the Libertines, Pixies, and Perfume Genius.

  • AC/DC Manager Crispin Dye Murder Reward

$100K Reward Offered in 20-Year-Old AC/DC Murder Mystery

Police in Sydney are taking new measures to solve the 20-year-old case of the death of former AC/DC manager and singer-songwriter Crispin Dye.In December 1993, a 41-year-old Dye was mugged and assaulted on the street after a night out celebrating the release of his debut record. The attack left him with major head injuries, which he later succumbed to. His attackers were never brought to justice. Now, without explanation, the New South Wales government has offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to solving the crime 21 years later."By all accounts, Crispin Dye was a fun-loving, friendly, and decent man, who was robbed of his life far too soon," Detective Superintendent Mick Willing said in a statement, Rolling Stone reports. "There are people out there who know those responsible for Mr. Dye's death and we're hoping this reward may prompt them to get in touch with police.

  • PARTYNEXTDOOR Drake Recognize Video OVO

See Kendall and Kylie 'Recognize' Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR's Music for Some Reason

In PARTYNEXTDOOR's single "Recognize," the Canadian singer teams with his OVO label boss Drake to tell their baes, basically, in less PG terms, "I got my girl friends, you got your guy friends, and that's cool, but I recognize that you're the one for me." But in the track's new video, it's not just ladies that these fellas have — they've a pretty sweet clubhouse too. From the looks of it, the OVO digs are pretty sweet, stocked with arcade games, pool tables, and a basketball court in the back. Meanwhile Kylie and Kendall Jenner cruise the streets of Los Angeles, listening to the song in their car because, you know, it's a good song and they like this kind of music. Or something like that. There's a boat too where PARTYNEXTDOOR chills out with some models and maybe stripper.

It opens in the wasteland of Val Verde, Los Angeles (the Valley town where the man born Steven Ellison grew up), with a young FlyLo obsessively doodling images of Captain Murphy."I don't know where he came from, he just sort of popped in my brain one day and I just couldn't stop drawing pictures of him," he says.

I think this record is closest to what I always wanted us to be, where it doesn't really matter who's singing ... I never wanted us to be a band where we were taking turns singing ... I always wanted it to sound like a band.
