Willie Nelson and the Secret Sisters Approach Transcendence on 'It Won't Be Long'

Country legend Willie Nelson recently blessed the Outside Lands audience with a set chock-full of classics that paid homage to the spirit of family — his sister and sons joined him alongside some old friends (and, um, John Stamos). This fall, the Redheaded Stranger will continue on in the spirit of collaboration, releasing To All the Girls, whose title, of course, owes to Nelson's 1984 hit with Julio Iglesias, "To All the Girls I've Loved Before." We'll have to avoid taking the song's implications too literally here, as Willie's lined up an incredible roster of female artists to assist on the 18 songs included therein. From Dolly Parton and Rosanne Cash, to Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood, to Mavis Staples and Norah Jones and Emmylou Harris, the mix doesn't linger on era or genre so much as focus on talent.

  • Touché Amoré 'Harbor' Video Is Survived By

Touche Amore Shred for Love in Post-Hardcore 'Harbor' Video

Los Angeles post-hardcore quintet Touché Amoré tap into a ferociously effective sound: mournful atmosphere, plodding rhythms, angsty screams, and very direct lyrics. Frontman Jeremy Bolm proudly wears heart-on-sleeve like the screamo greats before him, while his band matches his mood or otherwise moves in the opposite direction. Take "Harbor," for instance, from the group's third album, Is Survived By.To start, the guitar, bass, and drums sound beamed in from a Godspeed You! Black Emperor record. But as Bolm burns his throat in the quest "to have direction, to feel complete," the pacing picks up and the song sounds triumphant. Hints of Cursive, Converge, Pg.

Gucci Mane Apologizes for Twitter Rant, Seeks Rehab

It's been a year of ups and downs for Gucci Mane. The Atlanta MC born Radric Davis dropped his Trap House 3 album, had a guest spot in Spring Breakers, rapped alongside 2 Chainz, and even got "Darker" with Chief Keef. On the other hand, he stood accused of assaulting a soldier in a club, went on one of the most epic and tragic Twitter rants in history, and then wound up getting arrested for carrying drugs and a gun. But Guwop is addressing all of this now.Ater taking a week and a half off from Twitter, Mr. Mane returned to use the social networking tool for good this time. He apologized to his fans, friends, family, and colleagues — plus Drake, Birdman, and Rick Ross personally — and admitted that he's been addicted to promethazine cough syrup (a.k.a. lean) for a decade.

Paul McCartney Live Stream: Macca Plays Beatles Greats and 'New' Material

Only a couple of days removed from his stirring iHeartRadio concert (and let's not forget Outside Lands), Paul McCartney is playing Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight (September 23) beginning at 9:38 p.m. PST. Though the performance is happening on a shut-down section of Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, Myspace is live-streaming the performance, which so far includes a mix of Beatles hits ("Back in the U.S.S.R."), Wings classics ("Band on the Run"), and fresh material from his just announced new album, um, New.Head to Myspace to watch the show as it happens. The cover for Macca's 16th studio album was shared today and can be found below, along with the track list and production credits. We'll post the rebroadcast of the McCartney show when it becomes available.

  • Justin Timberlake 20/20 Experience 2 Stream iTunes Album

Justin Timberlake's 'The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2)' Is Streaming Right Now

After teasing us with "Take Back the Night" and "TKO," plus the iHeartRadio debut of "True Blood" and "Only When I Walk Away," Justin Timberlake is streaming The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2) in its entirety via iTunes. All 11 songs — including Drake collaboration "Cabaret" and Jay Z team-up "Murder" — can now be heard, revealing a funkier, more dancefloor-friendly set of tunes than the original The 20/20 Experience, which was also quite good.Timbaland's touch is felt strongly here as well, of course, and Michael Jackson's influence looms large. Clear nods to Prince and P-Funk prevail as well, but one can't ignore the suit-and-tie wearing fella's bid at Halloween-song-as-pop-anthem bid on "True Blood." The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2) is out September 27 but you can hear it right now on iTunes. Also, Drake's Nothing Was the Same arrives tomorrow (September 24).

  • Kanye West Zane Lowe Interview Video BBC Radio Part One Watch

Watch Kanye West Explain His Contribution to Humanity in BBC Interview

Though Kanye West's interview with BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe is still, at press time, being broadcast for the first time, the station has shared the first 14 minutes of the chat in video form, embedded above. Good thing too, since in the clip, the Yeezus auteur says, "[People] will play this interview in five years, they will play this interview in 10 years, and say, 'He called that, he called that, he called that.'" Though, to be fair, mostly West spends most of the time putting his own career in context. This one definitely helps: "I've made 10 years of product that has added to humanity." He also discusses Rick Rubin and Pusha T. Watch and learn above.

  • Future Shit Video Stream Honest Mike Will Made It

Future Talks Serious 'Sh!t,' Doesn't Sing in Menacing Video

Future's Honest made SPIN's early list of 50 Fall Albums That You Gotta Hear, and the Atlanta rapper-singer hasn't disappointed us yet. The mournful but triumphant album track "Honest" arrived earlier this month, quickly followed by the DJ Esco mixtape essential "Substitute Everything" ans the Grand Theft Auto V feature "How It Was." Now the man born Nayvadius Cash is back with a hard-swinging second single called "Sh!t," which takes aim at tough guys who don't put their money (or guns) where their mouths are, so to speak. A bleakly menacing Mike WiLL Made It production is matched by a fairly terrifying video, in which Future and his dudes look, well, bleakly menacing as a dark narrative plays out. Watch the clip above, and look forward to giving some thanks when Honest arrives on November 26.

  • Black Milk 'Black Sabbath' Stream No Poison Paradise

Black Milk Celebrates 'Dismal' With Gritty Funk-Rap

Black Milk's résumé speaks volumes. The Detroit producer/MC has worked with J Dilla and Dilla's Slum Village, made beats for hard-hustling rhymers like Canibus and Danny Brown, and even teamed up with Jack White for a 7-inch single. Like Jay Dee before him, the man born Curtis Cross is a soul-steeped, grit-loving composer that leans towards the margins— a music geek from a no-nonsense town, open to the sort of in-the-pocket experiments that you'll hear below. On October 15, Fat Beats will drop Black Milk's fifth solo album, No Poison No Paradise, a relatively stripped-down, back-to-sampling affair that serves as a re-introduction to the double-threat's raw skills. Check "Dismal" below, an excellent example of Milk's mastery over mood and groove.

    Stream 3:33's Wordless Dirge-Raps 'BB-2' and 'BB2-8'

New Jersey's Parallel Thought is more than just a couple of fellas composing funk-fueled horror-score bangers for atypical MCs like Del the Funky Homosapien and Gene the Southern Child. It's a label too, home to 3:33 — an anonymous group who create brutal drone-rap instrumentals as inspired by the avant-garde work of John Cage and the tradition set forth by D-Styles on his Phantazmagorea classic. On October 29, the crew drops their most ambitious set yet: Bicameral Brain, a double album that comes with a concept of sorts.

  • Kanye West Zane Lowe Interview Video BBC Radio

Kanye West Is the 'Biggest Rock Star on the Planet' in Zane Lowe Interview

"I'm the number one rock star on the planet," Kanye West yells into the microphone in the clip above, a mere snippet from his soon-to-be-released interview with BBC Radio 1 host Zane Lowe.As previously noted, Dave Chappelle may tell the best Yeezy story of all time, but there's nothing like watching the man who gifted us Yeezus talk about himself. Though the preview is only 49 seconds — a chunk of which goes to still shots of handshakes and grins being exchanged — there are wall-to-wall gems, from West's completely out-of-context suggestion that black men "wear some hot ass Jordans on the beach," to his perhaps definitive statement on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy: "[It] could be considered perfect.
