His tweets are mostly Twitpics of the things that comprise his existence - trippy doodles, dead birds and grasshoppers, rehearsal sessions, "wicked" rainbows, and massive chandeliers.

Of course, she's had a verified account for quite some time now, but it was full of generic news updates from her publicists-nothing personal or interesting. That's about to change. B.o.B.@bobatl Why You Should Follow: Hip-hop artist B.o.B.-otherwise known as Bobby Ray Simmons, Jr.-makes music that's out of this world. Literally. His Ziggy Stardust-esque Twitter bio reads, "I am from a planet not too many light years from the planet called Earth currently residing in Atlanta making music for the masses." The masses do, in fact, love his music-his songs "Nothin' On You" and "Airplanes" (which featured vocals from Paramore's Hayley Williams) both peaked pretty high on the Billboard 200. Last week, it was announced that B.o.B.

Tegan and Sara@teganandsara Why You Should Follow: Canadian rocker twins Tegan and Sara have had quite the busy summer. In addition to opening for Paramore on the 2010 Honda Civic Tour, they performed at Lilith Fair during the tour's stop in Boston, teamed up with comedienne Margaret Cho to record a song for her upcoming parody album, Cho-Dependent, and released a video for their song "Northshore," off their most recent album, Sainthood.

Kanye West @kanyewest Why You Should Follow: Since Kanye West started tweeting, there might as well be no one else on Twitter. Within days, he had 300,000 followers – now he's approaching 500,000. Not only that, but in his first nine days on Twitter, he managed to tweet 198 times – that's about 22 tweets per day. While his updates are sometimes almost obnoxiously arrogant ("I need this horse... Kings need horses"), they also offer an unprecedented behind-the-scenes glimpse into the decadent madness that is Kanye's life.
