Through my high school's journalism class, I was able to finally fuse my love for music with my passion for photographing and writing about concerts. Nothing compares to the feeling of being in the pit, ducking and weaving amongst other photographers, jockying for a perfectly poignant shot. Poignant- that's how I try to capture live musical acts. The moments captured where you can see and feel an artist's soul in a photograph have become my source of inspiration behind my scarce but growing work. By throwing myself as head-on as I can into the field of music journalism and photography, I hope to gain valuable insight that will allow me to do what I love in an atmosphere I can't forget.
