Reunited alt-rockers Stone Temple pilots have indeed written new material. Its release however, is questionable -- and it's not due to Scott Weiland's oft-troublesome lifestyle. Thank Atlantic Records, which is suing Weiland and drummer Eric Kretz for breach of contract.

Times are good for Scott Weiland. After reports of venomous in-fighting with his Velvet Revolver bandmates that resulted in his ousting, the Stone Temple Pilots reunion is a success and Weiland's Happy in Galoshes, the follow up to 1998's solo debut, 12 Bar Blues, is due for a November 25 release.
