The 20th anniversary edition of the annual Rock for Kids Rock & Roll Charity Auction (set to take place December 5 at Chicago's Park West) has amassed an unbelievable list of participants who have pledged to donate goods to raise funds for the city's homeless and underprivileged youth.

Eat your heart out, New York Marathon. Those headbanging neighbors from Canada, Fucked Up, undertook a decidedly different test of endurance yesterday, playing a 12-hour concert in a Manhattan boutique to celebrate the release of their second full-length album, The Chemistry of Common Life.

Less than a year after indie-rock sensations -- and SPIN cover boys -- Vampire Weekend released their self-titled debut, the New York, NY, quartet is already gearing up for their sophomore effort.

We here at SPIN.com wish we could stow you away to the Lone Star State this weekend for the Austin City Limits music festival. But just because you don't have a ticket to the musical extravaganza, doesn't mean you can't catch its top sets.

The Treasure Island Music Festival closed out the summer last weekend in San Francisco with an all-star lineup, including the Raconteurs, TV on the Radio, Vampire Weekend, Tegan and Sara, Okkervil River, Goldfrapp, Fleet Foxes, Port O’Brien, and Hot Chip.
