Summer Cannibals Want You Out on the Volatile ‘Go Home’

Portland’s Summer Cannibals have been kicking around the Northwest punk circuit since the release of their 2013 album and its 2015 follow-up — No Makeup and Show Us Your Mind — which they released via their own label, New Moss Records. Now, the trio has a new home, Kill Rock Stars, a forthcoming third record, Full Of It, and a brand-new single, the shredder “Go Home.”

The band’s latest zooms in with a series of robust guitar chugs, sharpening its already metallic edge. “I’m not the one,” lead singer Jessica Boudreaux squalls before adding, “You can call if you want” and “Go home” in the same breath. Her tone may be acidic, but the brief relaxing of her resolve belies vulnerability beneath that tough exterior. Listen to “Go Home” below, look for Full Of It on May 27, and pre-order it here.

Full Of It track list:
1. “Go Home”
2. “Just A Little Bit”
3. “I Wanna Believe”

6. “Full Of It”
7. “The Lover”
