Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Gets Remade for ‘Sons of Anarchy’ Final Season

Sons of Anarchy Final Season Bohemian Rhapsody Cover Stream

Aside from pending guest appearances by Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love (as a white supremacist and a preschool teacher, respectively) we still don’t know all that much about the seventh and final season of FX’s motorcycle gang drama Sons of Anarchy. The show returns Tuesday September 9 with an hour-and-45-minute season premiere, but while you wait the show’s founders have shared a couple rootsy covers from this season’s soundtrack.

The more audacious of the two, a six-and-a-half minute cover of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” comes courtesy of the Forest Rangers, The White Buffalo, Billy Valentine and Franky Perez. Childlike vocals and a whole helping of rollicking blues instrumentation supplant the operatic strains of the original, while the other cover of the Association’s “Never My Love” merely offers subdued acoustic instrumentation. You can listen to both over at Billboard.
