Scott Weiland Announces Solo Tour, Album Release Date

Scott Weiland’s new solo album (the follow up to 1998’s 12 Bar Blues), featuring production from Steve Albini and collaborations with the likes of No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal, drummer Adrian Young, and guitarist Tom Dumont, has finally been issued a title and release date: Happy In Galoshes will arrive Nov. 25 on his own Softdrive label. What’s more, the once-debauched singer has announced a spattering of supporting gigs, set to kick off November 11 following Stone Temple Pilots’ reunion outing.
