Jamaican artist and “Good Times” guest vocalist Popcaan spent time in police custody in Antigua last night after an onstage scuffle cut his performance short, according to local paper The Gleaner. Instagram footage shows the dancehall artist getting into a shoving match with a police officer.
The clip also features Popcaan admonishing the officer for roughly dealing with a fan who came onstage. After Popcaan pries the fan out of the law’s grasp, the officer pushes the singer away. Popcaan shoves back, and the ensuing ruckus interrupts the show.
Popcaan was taken into custody soon after, the paper reports, but no charges have been filed.
