Only a few days out from releasing her and photographer/filmmaker Seamus Murphy’s book of poetry, The Hollow of the Hand (out on October 20), PJ Harvey debuted ten new songs on Friday during a multimedia show of the same name at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
Harvey’s new material included titles like “Dollar Dollar,” “The Ministry of Social Affairs,” “The Wheel,” “Homo Sappy Blues,” and “Chain of Keys.” Many of the tracks were born of Harvey’s recent writing sessions at London’s Somerset House, where visitors could watch her through a one-way in a custom studio.
