PARTYNEXTDOOR Disses Jeremih Over Tour Conflict, Hints He Really Did Send Out a Doppelganger to Perform

PARTYNEXTDOOR has formally addressed the accusation that Jeremih sent a body double out to perform his set for him in the recent Houston stop of the two singers’ Summer’s Over tour, and the subsequent termination of Jeremih’s tenure on the tour last weekend. PND did so on stage at the tour’s final stop in San Francisco, as DDot Omen points out, when he told the audience: “I appreciate everybody filling up this room, and standing in this room, and not refunding your ticket, because you want to see a real person.”

He continued with further jabs at Jeremih:  “I might not have the most hits in the game that’s under my name—I might not sing the best falsetto… Everyone knows I’m a real person and I don’t have time for any other fake shit. I can’t do fake shit. I’m not calling nobody fake, I’m just saying.”

The conflict between Jeremih and PARTYNEXTDOOR was rumored to stem from the fact that Jeremih performed before PND on the tour, despite being listed as a co-headliner on the tour advertisements. The Chicago singer said he felt pressured to play a shorter set. Prior to the controversial Houston show, Jeremih stormed offstage at the Chicago tour stop, and later clarified his discontentment:

Following Jeremih’s removal from the tour after insulting PARTYNEXTDOOR onstage in Dallas, Live Nation offered patrons full refunds on tickets.
