Deep in the heart of Austin, SPIN and MySpace Music are hosting the Loft on 6th, an informal hangout where some of the biggest acts playing SXSW are stopping by to chat with guest correspondent John Norris -- and even play a song or two.

A free show certainly attracts a crowd, and last night (June 8) fans were packed in tighter than sardines in a tin can at New York City's Fillmore venue where the soul-warping Gnarls Barkley, math rockers Battles, and robotic R&B maven Janelle Monae played the 150th installation of MySpace's Secret Show series.

From Neil Diamond's intimate New York City set to the Cure's gig in Sydney, Australia, MySpace's Secret Show series has treated fans to free, one-off performances from some of music's biggest names. And to commemorate the 150th installment in the successful series, MySpace officials have yet again lined up a heavy hitter -- Gnarls Barkley!
