La Luz Share New Surf-Noir Track, ‘Believe My Eyes’

La Luz have premiered a hazy new track called “Believe My Eyes,” which was recorded during the band’s recording sessions with Ty Segall for their sophomore album.

Though it doesn’t appear on Weirdo Shrines, “Believe My Eyes” is La Luz’s contribution to a series of singles honoring the late Ariel Panero and his Less Artists More Condos (LAMC) concert series. For each 7″ released as part of LAMC, the A-side features an unreleased track by a band Famous Class Records likes (here, it’s La Luz), and that artist gets to choose another up-and-coming band they like to be included on the B-side (Brooklyn garage-rock outfit Scully).

The 16th edition comes out on August 25, and all digital proceeds go to the Ariel Panero Memorial Fund. Listen below.
