Kings of Leon Go Wild at SPIN's Cover Shoot!

Watch a hilarious interview with the band of rockin' Southern brothers (and a cousin!).
Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill and Caleb Followill

With the transformation of the Followill brothers (and a cousin!) from Southern rockers to arena gods in full swing on their excellent new record, Only By the Night, it was only fitting for Kings of Leon to grace the cover of SPIN's October issue.

Kings of Leon: American Regal

Their Southern Gothic mystique helped make Kings of Leon multiplatinum rock gods overseas. What will it take for the boozin' and brawlin' Followill boys to conquer their native land?

Caleb Followill needs a dentist. The day before the biggest gig of his life, the 26- year-old Kings of Leon frontman is standing outside a boutique hotel in London, flanked by his bald, tattooed bodyguard and his girlfriend, a thin, dark-haired model named Lily Aldridge.

Do you think the lyrics for "Sex on Fire," the anthemic first single (listen below) off Southern quartet Kings of Leon's new record, Only By The Night, are a little silly? Well, you're not alone -- singer/guitarist Caleb Followill agrees and claims the tune was nearly scrapped.

We always knew the Kings of Leon -- yep, those three Southern brothers (raised by a preacher) and one cousin -- had a bit of the Devil under their skin... you know, with the cigarettes, booze, and leggy model girlfriends and all.
