Both coasts came together on Sunday night at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, for a bill that saw gifted New York soul singer Ian Isiah heating up the room for the brothers Daniel and Andrew Aged, the forward-thinking, L.A.-bred R&B duo who — under their inc. moniker — released one of 2013’s most mercurial and satisfying listens. To up the (nascent) star quotient in the room, they enlisted the talents of fellow Angeleno Kelela. SPIN was there.
