See Hamilton Leithauser Cruise NOLA in ’11 O’Clock Friday Night’

Hamilton Leithauser '11 O'Clock Friday Night' Video 'Black Hours' Walkmen

First, the bad news: Erstwhile Walkmen boss Hamilton Leithauser has pushed the release of his solo album, Black Hours, to June 3, and reworked his upcoming tour dates to reflect the delay. But the good news? To soften the blow, he’s unveiled a new song — “11 O’Clock Friday Night” featuring Dirty Projectors’ Amber Coffman — and shared its accompanying music video.

Therein, Leithauser takes a trip around New Orleans, taking in a colorful parade and riding a bicycle around quieter streets. The song itself is a tropical-infused, vibraphone-assisted celebration that’ll put you in a way better mood than the Walkmen-assisted How I Met Your Mother finale. Enjoy the video, which is directed by that band’s guitarist Paul Maroon, above. Find Leithauser’s updated tour schedule below.
