Explosions in the Sky Album Details Surface

Moody instrumentalists Explosions in the Sky are set to release their fourth epically-titled album, All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone, the follow-up to 2001’s Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Live Together, 2003’s The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place, and last year’s How Strange, Innocence.

After showcasing an affinity for cinematic soundscapes on the score for the film Friday Night Lights, the band recruited producer John Congleton (the Roots, the Mountain Goats) to help them capture their big sound. When the album hits shelves sometime in February, look for its limited-edition two-disc version, which features remixes by Four Tet, Jesu, Adem, the Paper Chase, Mountains, and Eluvium.

Here’s the tracklisting for All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone:

1. The Birth and Death of the Day
2. Welcome, Ghosts
3. It’s Natural To Be Afraid
4. What Do You Go Home To?
5. Catastrophe and the Cure
6. So Long, Lonesome
