"Fuck yeah, I'm excited!" Jesse "Boots Electric" Hughes, the mustachioed frontman of Eagles of Death Metal, tells SPIN.com about his band's just-announced headlining fall tour. And though co-founding drummer and Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme will be noticeably absent, fans can expect an apt replacement: Richter scale-tilting Queens sticksman Joey Castillo.

"Austin never disappoints me," said an elated Jesse "Boots Electric" Hughes from the stage Tuesday night at Stubb's, one of the Texas capitol's premiere venues, as his band the Eagles of Death Metal opened the night for headliner the Hives. And Hughes, in turn, never disappoints an Austin crowd, or any crowd for that matter, since he's known as a rocker who delivers every time.
