DJ AM's Death Ruled an Accidental Overdose
A month after DJ AM, a.k.a. Adam Goldstein, was discovered dead in his New York City apartment, the medical examiner has ruled that the celebrity disc jockey died from an accidental overdose of cocaine and prescription drugs, the Associated Press reports.

REPORT: DJ AM "Wanted to Die"
DJ AM, a.k.a. Adam Goldstein, had eight undigested OxyContin pills in his stomach, and a ninth in his mouth, when police discovered his body August 28 in New York City, a law enforcement source told People. This finding suggests he swallowed the pills quickly in a possible suicide attempt.

Adam Goldstein, the celebrity disc jockey and club owner best known as DJ AM, was found dead today, August 28, in his New York City apartment, The New York Times reports. He was 36.
Prescription drugs and a crack pipe were found nearby, The Times reported, and no foul play is suspected.
