Watch Death of Lovers’ Eerie ‘Buried Under A World of Roses’ Video

Death Of Lovers 'Buried Under A World of Roses' Video Stream

Just-formed gloom unit Death of Lovers combines members of the bands Whirr and Nothing who apparently formed a bond while touring together earlier this year. Judging from the lush dreariness that drives new song “Buried Under a World of Roses” (the title track from the supergroup’s upcoming EP), the principles share a mutual love of fuzz, post-punk, and the challenge of bleeding color from a monochromatic palette. A release date for the forthcoming 12-inch has yet to be announced, but Death of Lovers have shared a music video for “Buried Under a World of Roses.” The stylish clip blends black-and-white performance footage with hazy, washed-out shots of the band standing creepily still in a garden.
