The phrase “from the makers of Sharknado” usually tells you pretty much all you need to know about a movie, but this one might need just a little more elaboration. SyFy is airing a two-hour-long original TV movie called Dead 7 that stars some of the lesser members of ’90’s boy bands as survivors fighting off zombies in a post-apocalyptic wild west.
Dead 7 features AJ McLean and Howie Dorough from Backstreet Boys, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick from ‘NSYNC, Jeff Timmon from 98 Degrees, and Erik-Michael Estrada, Jacob Underwood, Trevor Penick and Dan Miller from O-Town. At least they’re still getting work. Watch this movie, a thing that exists because we get the reality we deserve, when it premieres on April 1, and watch the trailer over on BuzzFeed.
